Before & After School Opportunities

American Heritage Girls – Christ-centered character and leadership program for girls that builds confidence, life skills, friendships, and service through faith-based activities, outdoor experiences, and community involvement.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis – After school programs; Teen programs; summer camp; internships; teen tech center; sports.  

Catholic Urban Programs – After school programming at public housing sites. Advocacy and academic monitoring. Second Step method of violence prevention training. 

Christian Activity Center – After school programming focusing on three core areas: faith, education and recreation.  

Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois – Helps girls build confidence, leadership, life skills, and friendships through hands-on activities, community service, outdoor experiences, and mentorship.

Greater St. Louis Area Scouting/Boy Scouts – Helps youth build confidence, leadership, life skills, and character through outdoor adventures, hands-on learning, community service, and teamwork.

Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center – After school programs, youth athletics, summer camp and educational programs. 

Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House – Teen REACH (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring, and Hope) comprehensive youth development initiative that provides after school programming to youth ages 6-17. 

Project Success – After school, tutorial enrichment childcare program serving children ages 5-14 years of age who are in protective custody and referred by DCFS. 

Sinai Family Life Center – After school programming for youth ages 4-12; Youth Enrichment program; summer camp. Focus is on the Winstanley Park Neighborhood but they serve the entire Metro East urban area.
